Greetings race fans! F1® Delta Time will be launching the official crate sale on the 25th February. So we want to take some time to introduce again what the crates are.

The Basics

The crates will be available in 4 tiers: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The tier determines the rarity of the collectibles in the crate. A crate can contain driver gear, car components and tyres, as well as a chance of a car or driver collectible.

A crate contains 5 official F1® Delta Time collectibles from the 2019 FIA Formula One World Championship™ season.

Tradable Crates

The crates themselves are ERC-20 tokens. This makes them sellable and tradable until they have been opened.

The Content

The tier of crate will dictate the type of collectibles that are possible to obtain after opening. For example, with Legendary collectibles only being available in Legendary crates as a general rule. But if you are lucky, the crate you open may contain a collectible that isn’t typical of that crate tier.

This means that a Common crate could contain an Epic or even Legendary collectible!

Availability and Pricing

Crates are limited in number. With a total of 6,500 crates being available across all tiers. The pricing of the crate is set by its tier. You can read more about the pricing over here: Announcement: Crate Pricing — F1® Delta Time

The sale is just around the corner. Start your engines!
